Weather/Climate

Galicia is known as a rainy region of Spain however Pontevedra has its own microclimate . The best time to come and ride with us is anytime however from April – October generally it is dry and
sunny with temperatures ranging from 20 – 30c degrees. From Oct – March we can get more rain but the temperature never drops below 10c. All of our trails drain really well and can be ridden all year round.  We also recommend bringing a rain jacket just in case as being so close to the sea the weather can change quite quickly.

Food

Galicia is a very proud region and Galicians love to share this. The food is predominantly seafood with delights such as  Scallops, Octopus, Muscles, Seabass, Cod. If Seafood is not your bag don’t worry the churrasco and meat options are incredible. All of our food is either organic grown or locally sourced from know farmers. We are health nuts and foodies ourselves so expect not only to enjoy the tastes of Galician foods but also the nutritional values.  For those that are staying with us in the full board packages we will contact you to discuss your dietary requirements and tailor you menus around this – we want you to love the food as much as we do.
